This was her first bath at home. They cleaned her up when she born, of course, and then one of the nurses bathed her while I was still in the hospital. I didn't even know they were going to do that, so obviously I don't have pictures from the first real bath. We were fortunate that when the boys were born, the staff did almost everything in my room, so the boys almost never left. Very different experience at the Katy hospital.

She and Jacob have the same reaction to bathing :). And that last picture with the sweet little newborn gaze is just beyond precious.
Does Jacob hate diaper changes too? Elizabeth is AWFUL for having her diaper changed, and she poops CONSTANTLY!
Jacob is cool with diaper changes, thankfully. I know this sounds crazy, but I'd give anything if Jacob pooped that much. I've learned that pooping is an indication that they're getting enough calories (never had any reason to look into it before, as my others were like Elizabeth). Jacob only poops a few times per week (albeit it's a lot when he does), and even thought I know that that is a variation of normal in breastfed babies, it worries me because of my supply problems. We have him weighed weekly and he's gaining like he's supposed to be, but I just wish he would poop more!
How many times a day did your others poop? William and Philip had severe constipation and infrequent pooping with gas. Elizabeth is the opposite - lots of poop, normal gas, and very little spitting up. Still, I can barely change her diaper without getting pooped and peed on! I hope your supply issues resolve. Any idea why it would suddenly be a Problem after all these years?
The only thing that we can think of is that maybe I'm developing hypothyroid. Both my mom and grandmother have it, which of course increases my chances of developing it. Other than that, I really don't know. I'm eating and drinking enough (of course!), supplementing my diet, pumping, resting, nursing frequently--I don't feel like there's anything else I can do. I am thankful that my supply is *almost* enough, though, so he does get 95% breast milk; still, it's stressful.
